Opportunity: Trusts and Foundations Volunteer

The volunteer will assist with each stage of fundraising from grant-making bodies, helping to develop the organisation’s systems and processes, bids and applications and ultimately helping to increase the charity’s income from trusts and institutions.


Opportunity: Community Fundraising Volunteer

The volunteer will assist with the organisation’s community fundraising and communications operations. Researching, developing and promoting events and activities to existing and new supporters will allow the volunteer to use and develop their verbal and written communication skills and confidence, gain and understanding of how a small international NGO operates, and to ultimately build the income and increase the impact of the charity.


Opportunity: Communications Volunteers

We are seeking volunteers to assist us deliver our communications programme. The purpose of the role is to help us tell the ECHO story. We want to engage with families who need our help and encourage them to seek support, and we also want to share our story with the wider community to engender support for the charity and help us to reach out to potential donors and fundraisers. Activities are wide ranging and cover all aspects of communications including but not limited to: social media management, writing stories and case studies, updating our website, designing and editing materials, making short videos, photography and generating PR coverage. We are flexible and open to hearing new ideas.
