The UCL Community Research Initiative is a dissertation matching service at University College London, connecting not-for-profit organisations that work with Students’ Union UCL Volunteering Service to academic staff and their Masters students who are keen to research a community need in the capital.

There are three key routes to engagement in this initiative, one for masters students, one for academic departments and one for London-based not-for-profit organisations. All of which offer the opportunities to share expertise, benefit the local community and enhance educational practice.

Each project is co-designed to match both the requirements of a student’s dissertation community organisation and those of the community organisation.

You can visit our Available Project Proposals to see what’s currently available - and if you represent a London-based not-for-profit and would like to submit a proposal, please complete and return our Proposal Form.

If you would like to find out more about getting involved in our initiative please send us an email.
