We are looking for volunteers who are responsible, energetic, imaginative, enthusiastic, creative, reliable, self-motivated, inspiring, optimistic team players - and get on well with children! We offer an extremely enjoyable and rewarding experience and a lot of fun. During the school holidays we organise popular activities and trips for refugee and migrant children who might not normally have these opportunities.

Maths on Toast at Pancras Square Library

Help us make maths family fun!

Maths on Toast host free creative maths sessions at Pancras Square Library once a month. Every session is different, inviting children (5-12 years) and their grown-ups to colour, create and enjoy a challenge!

We need people to welcome and support families with the activities! You might be chatting, making, playing games or helping construct a geometrical shape. Either way, our volunteers tell us they enjoy themselves and our visitors find it inspiring to meet them.

Student researcher needed to support a national housing association in gathering knowledge and greater understanding, through extensive data research, of the correlation of school exclusion rates with the level of overall poverty within local neighbourhoods where CHG has stock.

The outcome of research will influence funding allocation aimed at supporting families whose children are at risk of exclusion in school, through a yet to be agreed mechanism such as family therapy or supporting schools to offer increased level of pastoral care.

They have been incredibly successful with Toy Podz and have recently branched into supporting charities by supplying un-manned concessions that are branded with the charity logo and marketing message. The concessions sell licensed capsuled toys for £1 of which the charity receives 25p. They’re perfect for keeping children entertained!
