Age UK Islington Activity service runs a varied and busy programme of activities across the borough. It is vital that we accurately record attendances and client information on our database to enable us to contact clients about future events and ensure our mailing list is kept up to date. It is also essential for us to run reports to continuously monitor and improve the service as well as for reporting purposes. The Data Entry role would involve entering data of activities attendances and new clients on our database and helping with the mail out for our Activity programme on Excel.

World Stories Sound Recording Facilitator


World Stories is a free, electronic library of stories from around the world, created by KidsOut charity in an attempt to create a teaching resource that also helps disadvantaged students. The website consists of over 100 stories in English and a native language. We focus on the top 15 most spoken languages in the UK, these include: Polish, Bengali, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Hindi, Tagalog, Urdu and Arabic.

We run and maintain ‘Tarporley’ - a historic Northwich narrowboat, converted to carry 12 passengers. We mainly do day or evening trips but also longer ones as passengers & crew can sleep aboard.
