0 - 100: What are your sporting commitments?

We’ve got something for everyone, whatever your sporting commitments. From one-off yoga sessions to regular training, we’ve got you covered. Like with a lot of things, we’ve had to make some changes to the physical activities we offer you. Have a look below to see how they will be impacted and keep an eye on our social media for updates on what’s at the Union.

All the things you can do at the Union

We’re here to help you do more at UCL. Students are at the heart of everything we do, so much so that we’re led by seven students who are elected each year.

Sustainability at the Union

What we're doing for International Students

For some students joining us from overseas, students’ unions are entirely new, but in many ways, we are more important for you in the first few weeks than we are other new starters. As you get used to living in a new country, we’re here for you every step of the way.

Tour of Union Spaces

All of our spaces are your spaces. Here at the Union, we’re transforming our bars, cafes, fitness and study areas to create the perfect places for you to make friends and relax outside of lectures. Since we’re a not-for-profit organisation, every penny you spend with us goes back into the services we provide for you and other students at UCL.

So many events, but what should I do?

Ok, there’s a lot going on. Too much? Never! There’s always something more to do and that’s the way we like it.

UCL is such a vibrant community, and that’s reflected in the huge range of things happening during the first few weeks.

Find your network, find your community

Moving to a completely new environment like university, especially one in the heart of London, can feel daunting as well as exciting. As you adapt to life at UCL, our Liberation Networks are here to support you.

Making a change at UCL

At Students’ Union UCL, you have the power. The Union is led by students like you, and you get to shape it. If you want to make a bigger, more lasting change, there are a few ways to do it.

7 faces you should know

It’s in the name - we’re the Union for you, we’re your Students’ Union. We’re a bit different from other organisations you’ll meet because we’re led by students. Here are the seven students elected this March to lead the Union for a year.

A welcome from the student Sabbatical Officers

Welcome to UCL – you’ve made a great choice, this really is a special place. But we would say that, having made the same choice ourselves a few years ago!

UCL is a huge community, and at the heart of that community is the Students’ Union. In a line, the Students’ Union is here to help you make the most of your time at UCL, we’re the place where more happens.

Our new Sabbatical Officer team are here...

Say hi to Ilyas, Sandy, Carol, Ayman, Jim, Yasmeen and Aarushi…
