Project Active Social Sports

Project Active social sport is a great way to play sport without the training or trials. Leagues and weekly sessions are open to all UCL students so get together with housemates, course mates, society members or just a group of friends and get involved!

Project Active 5 a side Football

5-a-side Football Leagues 

Project Active leagues are a great social way to play sport without the training or trials. Played in a weekly tournament format, they’re open to all UCL students so get together with housemates, course mates, society members or just a group of friends and get involved!

Entry fee: £95 per team (for a team of 6 that’s just £3 per person per week!)
This covers the cost of facility hire and referees.

Project Active Hockey

Beginners Hockey ​

Beginner friendly sessions aimed at introducing the sport to complete novices in a turn up and play format.

Sessions open to all UCL students and staff.

No equipment needed; we’ll provide sticks and balls.

All sessions are £2 or £10 term pass (last session 11 December)

Every Tuesday, 6-7pm

Project Active: UCL O2 Touch

Touch Rugby is a minimal contact, mixed sport similar to rugby, but without the tackling! Come along to our weekly session and give it a try. All you need is a pair of trainers!

It’s is a great way to meet new people, improve your fitness and is easy to pick up, you don’t need to have played any rugby before. So, whether you’re a first teamer or a first timer, O2 Touch is social fitness at its best! 

When: Saturdays 10:30-12:30 / 14:00-16:00 (check individual dates below)

What does my entry fee cover?

Project Active leagues are subsidised: your team entry fee goes towards facility hire.

Project Active Rush Hockey

Rush Hockey is a small sided version of the game; fast flowing, flexible and fun! The rules are simple and easy to pick up making sessions open to all abilities. So, whether you’re a seasoned player or a first timer Rush Hockey is a great way to improve your fitness and meet new people.

Project Active is an official supporter of This Girl Can week and gives you the opportunity to challenge yourself, try something new, feel inspired to throw away your inhibitions or be happy hiding at the back if that’s what works for you!

Whether you’re interested in a 5 a side football match or just a kick about with some friends, Project Active pay and play football is a great way de-stress during the exam period.

Pay and play is a convenient way to stay active without the commitment of playing in a weekly league.  All you need to do is round up your friends and pick a time slot!

UCL People's FA Cup

UCL People’s FA Cup 2018 

Want to lift the People’s FA Cup at Wembley in May? If that’s a yes, then read on.

In partnership with BBC Get Inspired, the Higher Education Category of the People’s FA Cup is back for it’s second year. Played alongside the Emirates FA Cup, it gives amateur players the chance to have a taste of Cup glory! 

UCL will be hosting a 5 a side tournament on Wednesday 21st February; so team up with your course mates, house mates or just a group of friends and start your journey to Wembley today.
