What would you like the Union to do?
To lobby UCL to provide subtitling on all audiovisual material, in order to make teaching accessible to all students.
Why would you like to do this?
I believe we are all equal, regardless of a hearing impairment or not. Inclusion is key, if we promote it we should lead by example. If the students are part of UCL, they should not feel any different from the rest of us.
How will this affect students?
Equality. To boost their confidence and feel like they belong, feeling different can lead to many well-being implications
