At Students' Union UCL, you have the power. The Union is led by students like you, and you get to shape it. During the year, we may ask for your opinion through events and surveys. But if you want to make a bigger, more lasting change, there are a few ways to do it.

Contact your Representative

Got an issue you'd like your representative to know about? You have elected representatives for your course, societies, halls, even different parts of your identity, and they want to hear your ideas. They meet several times a year to discuss and vote on the issues facing UCL students, and they want to hear from you.

Represent Students

Start a campaign

Do you have a cause that's close to your heart? We can help you set up a campaign to push for action. Lots of current and former students have spoken out on issues that affect them, both at UCL and in wider society. Take your first step to an important change.

Write a motion

Should the Union, as your representative, take a particular stance on a specific issue? If you want to help guide the direction of your Union, you can put forward a motion to be discussed and voted on at a future meeting.
