What is a referendum?

A referendum is an all-student vote on either a particular issue based question or a vote of no-confidence in sabbatical officers.

How can a referendum be called?

There are two ways a referendum can be called:
1. Students are able to submit a petition to call for a referendum.
2. Union Executive can vote to call a referendum

How do students vote in a referendum?

After a referendum is called, an open meeting will be set to debate the referendum question and voting will take place the next day online. All students will be emailed with information on how to vote and you will be able to access the voting portal through the website.

Previous referendum results can be found here.
