Duties and Responsibilities
Students’ Union UCL is an organisation that exists to make more happen. We are the representative body for University College London’s (UCL) students, one of the most diverse student communities in the world.  UCL students have the potential to do anything, and the union leads an essential role in helping them to achieve things they may have never thought possible. As a charity we employ over 70 full-time staff and deliver a wide range of services and representative functions for students.

To celebrate our 125th birthday later in June 2018 we are launching 125 and Beyond, our new strategic plan that will set us on the path to become one of the best students’ unions in the UK, and more importantly a better students’ union for our 40,000+ members.

The Digital and Content Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Union’s digital output, including email, social media and websites and to create high-quality, engaging content in line with our tone of voice to support the Union’s mission. You’ll work alongside the Marketing and Communications Manager, Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Graphic Designers and our Sales and Events coordinator, and a range of talented student staff, and be responsible for the content and digital output of one of the UK’s largest and oldest Students’ Unions.

Key Requirements
The successful candidate must have experience of creating original content for use in communication and writing for different audiences across multiple channels. They must also have good working knowledge of effective marketing practices and be a skilled user of IT who can enable efficiency and improved service through the use of technology.
