Agith Navalan
Dear fellow students of the UCL SOP community,
Man's running for BPSA officer.
As a student of SOP I have gone through most of my humble education at this prestigious school unaware of what exactly the BPSA was, all i knew was that it held some significance within the pharmaceutical circles. However, as time has passed I have come to realize how much of a silly fool I had been to disregard the work of such an organization and how much they do indeed do for me, to put it simply I was taken aback. If I am lucky enough to become the eventual victor of these highly competitive and rigorous elections, I hope to become a point of liason between the modest students at this glorious institution and the magnificent BPSA, student inclusion is one of my main objectives upon appointment at the role because I believe that the true essence of the organization is misunderstood, which is to represent, educate and entertain us budding young pharmacist. The rest of the UCL community views me and you as just mere counterparts in the cruel competitive world of education, the BPSA however views us as something much greater... Budding young pharmacists with intact FTPs'. Another one of my objectives in this role is the smooth running of events involving the BPSA including a variety of competitions and also the numerous conferences throughout the year, but my most important goal that I trust will come into fruition is to shine more of a light on the BPSA as it is truly a very worthy organization to be a part of and focus on student inclusion.
Vote for manlike Agzy if you are indeed bad.

The BPSA is a vital society that provides support and representation for all pharmacy students, therefore it is an extremely helpful and important society that I believe all students can benefit from. My goal is to increase the level of participation of SOP students in the BPSA, by getting more of us involved in the various opportunities provided by the BPSA such as competitions, awards and student exchange opportunities. I also aim to promote networking events through the BPSA which allows SOP students to have a look at potential future career opportunities and options to consider when they graduate from the course. I am a friendly, approachable and positive person, so I will always be happy to listen and take on board your suggestions. I will work alongside academic staff and students themselves to consider any ideas, agendas, ideas and notions that they may have that I am more than happy to raise to the BPSA on their behalf to ensure all of their voices are heard to enhance they can get the best out of BPSA for everyone to benefit them on the course and graduating from the course. I will make sure each SOP student at UCL makes the most of the connections we can build through the BPSA and make us stand out from the crowd in the future! Let us make a positive difference together. VOTE SYED :)

What is the BPSA? It stands for British Pharmaceutical Students Association lol. Many of you would probably think, what’s the point in this ‘association’ and how can this help me? Well today is your lucky day :) - my dream in life is to educate and increase the participation of the School of Pharmacy students within the BPSA. Their variety of events and competitions are something many students are unaware of. Particularly the competitions aspect – which are becoming increasingly important to boost your CV, network and make you stand out in applications. So how would you find out about these competitions and various opportunities? Never fear, Rohan is here – through my excellent relationship with lecturers and teaching fellows, I will make sure to promote these competitions, student exchange opportunities and even deadlines to make sure YOU are ready for life. I am approachable in all aspects so will always be willing to listen to your ideas or suggestions; and if you can’t find me, look for a guy who’s 5’5 with white socks – hardly intimidating right? Vote for me and together we can build a fantastic relationship with the BPSA for the present and future.
