Why are you standing?:

There are few things in life I value more than forming connections with the people around me. Friends, family, colleagues, mentors and mentees, all these help us grow throughout our lives and empower us to achieve our goals.

My primary purpose of a Student-Faculty Representative, in my opinion, is to nurture the community within their faculty so that my fellow students can build these connections. If elected, I will assume the responsibility to keep closely in touch with the concerns and achievements of all my peers, taking advantage of social media tools and another secure pathways for anonymous feedback. Furthermore, by actively learning about the short- and long-term strategies of our Faculty regarding postgraduate education, I will be ideally placed to advise students and student societies on how they can best benefit from the resources our university has to offer.

My prior experience as postgraduate representative to the School of Physical Sciences at Cambridge, as well as volunteer society leadership positions during my undergraduate years, has prepared me to apply myself to these goals. I appreciate your support, and hope you will give me the opportunity to represent you this year -- the decision is yours!
