Refunds

If one of the clubs or societies you join, don’t deliver what you believe you were promised at the Welcome Fair, you are entitled to a refund. Here is our advice on how to resolve any issues with your club or society.

  1. Try to resolve the issue with the club/society President
  2. You are eligible for a refund up 30 days from date of purchase. If you purchased online, email us at su.activities@ucl.ac.uk and include your order number. Once processed and approved, the union finance department will pay refund directly into the account you paid with. 
  3. If purchased more than 30 days prior to request for refund please explain why you have requested the refund, and we will contact the club/society on your behalf. Refunds for purchases of over 30 days will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  4. If purchased at the Student Activities reception please enquire there during opening hours* about a refund. Please remember to bring you college ID and, if purchased with a credit or debit card, the card you paid with.

Complaints

We take any complaints regarding our clubs and societies very seriously. If you wish to make a complaint about how you have been treated by a member of a club or society or about the activities a club or society is undertaking, please contact k.sykes@ucl.ac.uk for clubs and c.salton-cox@ucl.ac.uk for societies.


*Student Activities reception opening hours

Bloomsbury Reception, 2nd Floor:
Monday - Friday: 10am - 9pm
Saturday 11am - 7pm

Lewis’ Reception:
Monday to Friday: 10am - 5pm

These hours are term time only. Out of term, the reception is closed.
