Throughout the year, we run awesome events including JAILBREAK, THE THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE and HITCHIKE TO A HOUSE PARTY. RAG WEEK
We will be hosting great events throughout RAG week, ending with a new event, 'Hitchike to a House Party'. Other events during RAG week include “Où est le poulet?” bar crawls, pub quizzes, club nights and of course the much loved “So you think you can date?” (Please sign up your single friends. Next best thing to Love Island).
HITCHIKE TO A HOUSE PARTY
An AirBnB in the middle of the countryside awaits you. It's the weekend away you've needed the whole year. You know the GPS co-ordinates, the party is already in full swing. The catch? You can't spend any money getting there. Last team to arrive sleeps on the foor.
JAILBREAK
Previously voted the best event in the Union, Jailbreak is not to be missed! In just 36 hours, participants must travel as far away from UCL as possible without spending a single penny. How far will you go? Previous winning teams have made it to far flung locations such as Hong Kong, Qatar and Canada!
THREE PEAKS
This year we are supporting Hope for Children for the eigth year in a row, by sending a team of students to climb the UK’s three highest peaks! While not being sent quite as far away from home as other treks, you have the opportunity to climb Scafell Pike, Snowden and Ben Nevis! An endurance challenge with a lower fundraising target. Excellent for if you're not as confident with a large student fundraising commitment.
CHARITY SWIM
New year, new you? We're staging a brrrrrrrrrrrrrrilliant fundraiser to kick start your 2022 with a bang (AKA submerging your body in the refreshing natural ponds of Hampstead Heath at a less than comfortable temperature).
