We are UCL Folk and World Music Society, a group for anyone and everyone wanting to enjoy the plethora of folk and world music in and around London.

Our philosophy is that music has the power to bring people together from all walks of life. We are in constant search for people who have a story to tell through music. We want to listen to these stories and the beauty of their fusion. London’s Global University has stories to tell, traditions to celebrate, and a growing community of cultural curators, writing the rhythms and harmonies of tomorrow. Join us!

Here's a list of some of our regular events that you can get involved with. Check out our website and Facebook page for more events!

Folk and World Mondays  - 7pm Mondays, upstairs of The Huntley

Weekly free gigs from members of the society as well as up and coming London-based performers. Followed by a jam session. Bring your instruments and voices or simply come to listen to some foot-stompingly great music! All abilities and instruments welcome, no membership needed.

As well as our weekly events, we host Ceilidh dances, gigs and workshops every term, and have regular socials to the best gigs on the London folk scene.
