The Floorball Club is back in 2019/20 for another fantastic year of floorball and we want YOU to be a part of it!

What Is Floorball?

Floorball, a.k.a. Unihockey, Salibandy (Finland) or Innebandy (Sweden), is a growing sport in the UK and across the world. It is highly popular in Scandinavian, Eastern European and South-East Asian countries.

A fast-paced sport played with an iconic holey plastic ball and light floorball sticks (similar to hockey or ice-hockey), floorball is played 5v5 with a goalie on each team on a hard court indoor surface.

What Are The Prerequisites?

Worried that you’ve never played floorball before? Think you’re too unfit to play sports? Fret not because we've always been beginner friendly; our lovely club is made up of a huge range of players and we welcome every single person to share our love for floorball!

Floorball is a sport that can be picked up easily, so anyone can enjoy floorball, any time in the year. Equipment is provided so all you have to do is bring yourself down to our trainings and have fun! :-)

*All trainings are mixed/ gender-neutral, and open to all members. Changing room facilities are available at both venues.

Welcome Sessions

This year we will run 4 Welcome Sessions where you can try out our sport and meet the team without any commitments. These sessions are available to all for free all you need to come is a pair of running shoes and a good attitude. You do not need to sign up. Keep in mind that the first Welcome session is usually the busiest which simply means we will most likely have to share the equipment.
